1. License
Zenerly (www.zenerly.com) ("WePDF," "we," "us," or "our") grants you a personal, free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install and use the WePDF Android app (the "App") on devices you own or control, for personal or business purposes, in line with this EULA.
2. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- sell, rent, lease, sublicense or redistribute the App, or publish modified copies of it;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where the law allows this despite this restriction;
- remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notices in the App;
- use the App in a way that breaks the law or our Terms of Service.
3. Ownership and open-source components
The App is licensed, not sold. Zenerly and its licensors keep all rights in the App and in the WePDF name and logo. The App includes open-source components (such as PdfBox-Android) that are licensed to you under their own terms; nothing in this EULA limits your rights under those licences.
4. Your files
Documents you scan, create or edit with the App stay on your device and remain yours. The App does not send them to us. If you turn on Google Drive backup, copies are stored in your own Google Drive. Deleting documents, clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App removes the copies on your device.
5. Optional ads, analytics and permissions
Ads are off by default and appear only if you turn them on in Settings. The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used — never the contents or names of your files — as described in our Privacy Policy. The App uses the camera only when you scan a document, and asks for notification permission only if you turn on reminders.
6. Updates
We may release updates to add features, fix problems or meet Google Play requirements. The App may prompt you to install an update through Google Play. Some features may change or be removed over time.
7. Google Play
This EULA is between you and Zenerly, not Google. Google is not responsible for the App or for supporting it. Your download and use of the App through Google Play is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
8. Termination
This license lasts until it ends. You can end it at any time by uninstalling the App. It ends automatically if you break this EULA, in which case you must stop using the App and uninstall it.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided free of charge and "as is". The disclaimers and limitation of liability in sections 10 and 11 of our Terms of Service also apply to the App. Nothing in this EULA limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
10. Export laws
You agree to follow the export and sanctions laws that apply to you when you download and use the App.
11. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the same law, and disputes are handled in the same way, as set out in section 12 of our Terms of Service.
